There are a number of suggestions we have that could help you get the most out of Penthouse Interactive, and that might help the program to run more efficiently.
The Penthouse Interactive software requires 5500kb in which to run. If you have 8mb of memory installed on your Mac, you should have plenty of room. However, you may wish to terminate other programs before starting Penthouse Interactive to get the best performance.
If you don't have QuickTime installed on your Mac, first drag the supplied QuickTime extension to your System Folder icon (not the open System Folder itself). Respond OK to any dialog, then restart. Note that QuickTime version 1.6.2 is supplied on this disc.
Before you start running Penthouse Interactive, drag the PHI icon to somewhere on your hard disk. It will run much better there than from the CD-ROM.
If you are running a system with 8-bit color depth, switching to 256 levels of gray in the Monitors Control Panel will make the movies look much cleaner.
If you print a photo from the Darkroom, and the command is processed in background printing, it will take a long time to print. Printing in Penthouse Interactive is a very slow operation.

A new keyboard shortcut has been added that is not shown on the Penthouse Interactive help panels. Holding down the "Apple" key and the "A" key together instructs Penthouse Interactive to play each movie in turn, automatically. When the last movie ends, the first is played again and the cycle is repeated. You can stop this action at any time by pressing the left, right or return arrows. If you hit Apple and A from the Pet Introduction panel, the cycle starts with the first movie; if you hit Apple and A from the Photo Session panel, the cycle starts with the movie you are currently viewing. So, sit back and enjoy the show!
